Definitions
2.1 Technical Advisors (TA) – Single point of technical contact for a USNC TAG appointed by the Technical Management Committee (TMC). Normally, for AAMI-Administered IEC TAGS, the Secretary serves as the TA.
2.2 Deputy Technical Advisor (DTA) – Serves as Deputy for the TAand TAG Secretary and performs other functions as defined by the TAG.
2.3 TAG Administrator – Organization that is assigned by the Technical Management Committee to provide administrative support for a TAG for a 4 year period. (AAMI is the TAG Adminstrator)
2.4 TAG Secretary – AAMI Staff-member who is assigned by AAMI to provide day-to-day administrative support for a TAG. (This individual will normally serve as the TA as well.)
2.5 U.S. National Interested Party – One of the following entities directly and materially affected by the relevant standards activity:
- an individual representing a corporation or an organization domiciled in the U.S. (including U.S. branch offices of foreign companies authorized to do business in one or more states as defined by the relevant state’s corporation law within the U.S.);
- an individual representing a U.S. federal, state, or local government entity;
- or a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
