The AAMI Foundation Michael J. Miller Scholarship Program


 

The AAMI Foundation through its Awards Committee will award scholarships in 2023 to students studying to become biomedical equipment technicians, or health technology specific engineering, including clinical and health systems engineering. Each of the scholarships are worth $3,000 and are awarded in a one-time, lump sum check to each scholarship winner at the AAMI Exchange.

2023 Scholarship Winners

  • Hannah Tabor Aseltine

    Aseltine is pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT as a part of their Clinical Engineering Internship Program.

  • Kaeleigh Cain

    Cain is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science at Minot State University in Minot, ND.

  • Miriam A. Ledlow, CPhT

    Ledlow plans on pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Texas A&M in College Station, TX in fall 2023.

  • Kaity O'Brien

    O’Brien is pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT as a part of their Clinical Engineering Internship Program.

  • Natalie Maryam Shepherd

    Shepherd is planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science and biomedical engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in fall 2023,

  • Jackson Tirrell

    Tirrell is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
