AAMI Seeking Nominations for “Best Practices”
Until Oct. 30, 2009, AAMI's Technology Management Council (TMC) is accepting nominations from facilities with an outstanding best practice to share. The top six entries will gain widespread recognition through an article in AAMI's journal, BI&T and on AAMI's website, and be eligible for an excellence award to be presented at AAMI's Annual Conference.
Nominations should focus on actions your department has taken to tackle a specific problem (device-related, personnel, finance, etc.), or a new process that improved patient safety or efficiency. See the previous winners below for examples.
Send a brief description (250 words or less) of your best practice to Jill Williams at jwilliams@aami.org by Oct. 30, 2009. You can nominate your own department or others. These nominations are designed to increase the recognition of clinical engineering departments around the world.
If you have questions, please contact Jill Williams at jwilliams@aami.org or call (703) 525-4890, ext. 267.
