More than 800 medical technology professionals have joined the LinkedIn site of AAMI’s Technology Management Council (TMC).

The TMC created the LinkedIn site earlier this year to provide an online community where members can stay up-to-date with news on TMC projects and issues facing the medical technology field.

Members who have joined LinkedIn also can discuss topics using the discussion function on the site and post questions about issues or problems they are facing.

The TMC also created a group on the social networking site Facebook to provide the same benefit. Facebook members can upload their own photos to share with the online community.
