The AAMI Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose primary mission is to serve the public welfare and improve patient safety by supporting the safe adoption and safe use of healthcare technology, and by recognizing the professionals who work in this realm. It does this through national patient safety initiatives, the distribution of scholarships, a grant program, and awards for excellence.
