As the Executive Director of eProtex, Earl leads a cross-functional team of IT, clinical engineering and HIPAA experts in helping healthcare providers achieve greater medical device security and HIPAA compliance. With over 30 years in healthcare, Earl has served as CEO of Nurse Aide Training Center, COO and General Counsel to the RCS Companies, and in various hospital leadership positions. Earl earned his Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from Oakland Community College, Bachelors in Business Administration from Siena Heights University, and Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. A member of the Indiana and Indianapolis State Bar Associations, Earl currently serves in the Indiana HIMSS Board of Directors. He is a frequent media contributor and speaker at health technology conferences on the topics of ePHI and medical device security, and HIPAA compliance.
