| Biography | Mr. Poplin, CHE, CBET is a certified biomedical technician trained in the U.S. Air Force and contributes to the clinical technology management profession through multiple avenues. He has served two terms as President of the North Carolina Biomedical Association and is a Technology Management Committee Board Member for the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. Earning both his bachelor degree in Business Administration and master degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, Poplin also is a Diplomate of ACHE and holds board certification in healthcare management. Mr. Poplin is Vice President of Clinical Technology Services for ARAMARK Healthcare Management Services, which, according to Modern Healthcare Magazine's 2004 outsourcing survey, is the largest independent clinical and diagnostic equipment maintenance provider in the U.S. Poplin also is the chief architect of ARAMARK's Integrated Clinical Asset Management strategy. |
