Internet Artificial Intelligence (pronounced aye-yi-yi)

IEEE

The IEEE (Eye-triple-E) is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 377,000 individual members in 150 countries. The full name is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

IETF

The Internet Engineering Task Force is an open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet. It is open to any interested individual. The actual technical work of the IETF is done in its working groups, which are organized by topic into several areas (e.g., routing, transport, security, etc.). IOD

Information Objects Definitions (PS3.3). DICOM uses IODs as a way to encode physiological information into an abstract definition applicable to communication of digital medical images and related information.

Internet Protocol version four addressing scheme uses 32 bits arranged in a four byte decimal notation delimited with "dots." For example: 151.186.50.97

IPv6

Internet Protocol version six addressing scheme uses a 128 bits arranged in eight hexadecimal four digit integers delimited with colons. For example: FD08:3BC4:E997:8D43:0000:6F25:78C3:B12E.

IPv6 compressed form

A text version of an IPv6 address that compresses zeros replacing them with a double colon such as 260B::5F:1C00:800D:528B

IPv6 full form

The complete text version of an IPv6 address such as: FD08:3BC4:E997:8D43:0000:6F25:78C3:B12E

IPv6 mixed form

A text version of an IPv6 address that includes an IPv4 address in the last 32 bits such as 260B:0:0:0:5F:1C00:151.186.50.97

International Telecommunication Union adopted this name in 1934. An organization based in Switzerland, it is the most important telecommunication standards body in the world—as most systems in the world adhere to the standards. In 1990, it subdivided into 3 units, ITU-T for telecommunication standardization, ITU-R for radio communications and ITU-D for telecommunication development.
