May 15—Final Day to Enter HTM Week Contest

Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Week is almost upon us. To mark the occasion, AAMI and its Technology Management Council (TMC) have scheduled an event each day during the special week. The events will honor the important work of HTM professionals—including biomedical equipment technicians, clinical engineers, imaging specialists, and lab equipment specialists.

One of the activities is a contest to find the facility that best commemorates HTM Week 2013. The entry deadline is Wednesday, May 15. To enter, simply submit a brief description of how your facility plans to celebrate the week here.

Below is a quick look at the celebrations and events planned for each day:

  • On Monday, May 20, AAMI President Mary Logan will deliver a special message to kick off the week. The message will include several complimentary resources..
  • On Tuesday, May 21, AAMI will host a free webinar on wireless security and robust wireless networks at 12:00 p.m. EST.. To register for the session, click here.
  • On Wednesday, May 22, AAMI will announce the winner of this year’s TMC Bright Ideas Award (formerly known as Best Practices Award). The department that wins this award also will be honored at AAMI 2013 Conference & Expo in Long Beach, CA.
