Free Webinar on Wireless Issues Offered
In honor of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Week (May 19–25, 2013), AAMI will host a free webinar on wireless security and the robust wireless networks on Tuesday, May 21, from 12:00–1:30 pm Eastern.

The 90-minute program will feature experts Steve Baker, senior engineer with Welch Allyn, and Phil Raymond, wireless architect with Philips, who will discuss two of the most critical topics now being addressed by AAMI’s new Wireless Task Force.
Healthcare Technology Management Week is an annual celebration designed to promote the awareness of—and appreciation for—the critical work of biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs), clinical engineers, and other members of the healthcare technology management (HTM) field. Plenty of ideas for celebrating the week are available here.
AAMI is also holding its third annual contest to recognize the facility that best celebrates Healthcare Technology Management Week. In reviewing submissions, we are looking especially for creativity and for engaging other facility staff and departments in the celebration.
