Other organizations wishing to join the list of those supporting Healthcare Technology Management Week should e-mail Patrick Bernat at pbernat@aami.org by Friday, April 26. “Each year, healthcare organizations join together in supporting this fun, but important celebration,” says AAMI President Mary Logan. “It’s a great time to stop, reflect, and thank the people who manage healthcare technology for their outstanding contributions.” Information about how hospitals and others can celebrate the week-long event is available on AAMI’s website at www.aami.org/meetings/htmweek. Each weekday during HTM Week 2013, AAMI and its Technology Management Council (TMC) will hold a special event or recognition in honor of the celebration. Details on these events will be announced soon. AAMI, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1967. It is a diverse community of nearly 7,000 healthcare technology professionals united by one important mission—supporting the healthcare community in the development, management, and use of safe and effective medical technology. |
