AAMI Seeks Nominations for Leaders in
Healthcare Technology

In its ongoing effort to recognize those outstanding leaders and innovators working to advance the safe and effective use and development of healthcare technology, AAMI is soliciting nominations for its annual awards

AAMI will present the awards at its annual conference, which will take place in Long Beach, CA, June 1-3. Winners will receive a monetary prize and a plaque commemorating their achievements as they are honored by their peers. The awards are administered by AAMI and its Foundation. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15.

The new Spirit of AAMI Award recognizes an outstanding contribution from an AAMI volunteer. Candidates should possess a long track record of AAMI service, including leading committees and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Some existing AAMI awards have new names. The AAMI Clinical/Biomedical Engineering Achievement Award is now AAMI’s Healthcare Technology Management Leader of the Year Award, and the AAMI & Becton Dickinson Professional Achievement Award, now called the AAMI & Becton Dickinson’s Patient Safety Award.
