CE-IT Community Town Hall to Recap AAMI/FDA Interoperability Summit

The 12th in a series of virtual and highly interactive town hall meetings from the CE-IT Community is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14th at 12:00 Noon Eastern. You can register here for the complimentary 90-minute session, which will explore the recent AAMI/FDA Interoperability Summit.

The Town Hall will be moderated by Elliot Sloane, PhD, and will feature a presentation by Carol Davis-Smith of Kaiser Permanente and Erin Sparnon of ECRI Institute.

The CE-IT Community is a collaboration among AAMI, ACCE, and HIMSS. Previous town halls have covered interoperability, medical device security, wireless issues, MDDS & IEC 80001, mHealth, connectivity with physiologic monitors, interoperability with the IHE profiles, collaboration case studies, human factors, and professional development.

Through these town hall meetings, participants learn about and discuss timely issues related to medical technology networking and interoperability, risk management, and interdepartmental collaboration.
