‘Virtual’ Town Hall to Explore Interoperability with
Clinical Alarms
The 10th in a series of virtual and highly interactive town hall meetings from the CE-IT Community is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 12:00 Noon Eastern. You can register here for the complimentary 90-minute session, which will explore interoperability with clinical alarms.
Elliot Sloane will moderate an expert panel that will field questions on clinical alarm interoperability from town hall attendees. Panelists will be announced shortly.
The CE-IT Community is a collaboration among AAMI, ACCE, and HIMSS. Previous town halls have covered interoperability, medical device security, wireless issues, MDDS & IEC 80001, mHealth, connectivity with physiologic monitors, interoperability with the IHE profiles, collaboration case studies, and human factors.

Through these town hall meetings, participants learn about and discuss timely issues related to medical technology networking and interoperability, risk management, and interdepartmental collaboration. Each session includes expert panelists who will discuss a particular hot topic, and will provide an opportunity for questions and discussion.
