Healthcare Technology Management Week—which honors clinical engineers, biomedical equipment technicians, and other healthcare technology professionals—will take place May 20–26, 2012.

The annual week of recognition, organized by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), has become a unifying celebration across the field, with hospitals from coast-to-coast and beyond holding special events to honor the important work of healthcare technology management professionals.

During the 2011 week, AAMI and its Technology Management Council (TMC) marked each day with something unique—from holding free webinars and distributing free resources, to announcing the winners of several awards.

In the coming months, AAMI will release details about the 2012 celebration, and will distribute complimentary resources to help professionals participate to the fullest.
