In an article published in the April 2008 issue of Medical Dealer magazine, Patrick Lynch, CBET, CCE, listed AAMI’s CEO, Mike Miller, among the “10 people who have changed the world of biomedical engineering.”
In the description of Miller’s contributions, Lynch notes that Miller — who has served as AAMI’s CEO since 1969 — “has overseen many programs which have helped develop the biomedical industry into a profession. Certification programs, 40 annual meetings, and many standards that we take for granted are just a few of his contributions.”
Lynch’s “10 Things” column will become a regular feature of Medical Dealer, and will include a different biomed-related list each month.
