AppTec Laboratory Services

AppTec offers biosafety testing to assist medical device and biotechnology/biopharmaceutical manufacturers in meeting regulatory requirements. The company has three sites (St. Paul, MN; Atlanta, GA; and Camden, NJ), all of which are GLP and cGMP compliant. The St. Paul and Atlanta facilities are ISO certified.

Services for the medical device industry include biocompatibility (in vivo & in vitro); chemistry; microbiology; genotoxicology; hemocompatibility; sterilization validation; physical and package testing; reusable device validation; viral/ process validation; and environmental monitoring. Services for the biotechnology/ biopharmaceutical industries include cell line characterization; viral and process validation; gene therapy vector testing; molecular biology; mycoplasma testing; and analytical services.

AppTec also offers cell and tissue engineering services, including testing for processed tissue and tissue-based products.
