AAMI/FDA Infusion Device Summit
The AAM/FDA Infusion Device Summit was held on October 5–6, 2010 in Silver Spring, MD.
Attendees heard challenges presented by speakers and amplified by audience discussion. A list of priorities was developed for addressing the issues of greatest importance. The challenge is to keep the momentum going.
The Healthcare Technology Safety Institute (HTSI), launched by the AAMI Foundation, has been tasked with keeping the passion alive by organizing working groups, overseeing the progression of solutions to the list of priorities, and working with the many people who have already volunteered their time and expertise.
