HTSI is hosting a free webinar on false positive alarm signals on Thursday, April 25 at 12:00 pm Eastern Time. In coordination with the forthcoming HTSI Safety Innovations white paper, Cardiopulmonary Monitors and Clinically Significant Events in Critically Ill Children: The Children’s National Medical Center Experience, the focus of this webinar will be on a team of nurses, biomedical engineers, physicians, and biostatisticians who defined alternative alarm parameters to improve CPM alarm performance. Two members of the monitoring committee will provide their perspectives.
