AAMI’s free “brown bag” style online seminar series for students and young professionals seeks to spark conversations about the issues facing those who are just starting out in the field. While these sessions are designed for emerging healthcare technology professionals, all AAMI members are welcome to attend and ask questions.

This Session

This session is focused on career advancement and will cover the basics of succession planning and its effects on up-and-coming HTM professionals. In addition, co-presenters Don Tucker, regional director of operations for Crothall Healthcare, and Kelvin Knight, director of biomedical engineering at The Children's Hospital of Alabama, will discuss ways that young professionals can develop key leadership skills.

This session is pre-approved for 1 ACI CEU.

Complimentary brown bag, no registration fees required.

If you are unable to attend this session, it can be found on the Brown Bag Series page.

These brown bag sessions are FOR YOU and BY YOU (students, young professionals, and rookies). Please let us know if you have ideas for specific brown bag topics you would like to see in the future. Every brown bag is FREE and open to AAMI members and non-members. Each brown bag session will feature a special professional/personal development raffle, so listen to the end for a chance to win!
