The AAMI
Educational Advancement Award recognizes a mid-career biomedical
professional who seeks to advance his or her career by pursuing
an undergraduate or advanced degree or completing training at an
appropriate technical school.
Candidates
should be:
employed
as a BMET or related technical service position for at least three
years
show clear
evidence — by accomplishments, training, and employment — of commitment
to the technical service field.
The award consists
of $1,500 and an engraved plaque.
