The AAMI
Clinical/Biomedical Engineering Achievement Award recognizes
individual excellence and achievement in the clinical engineering
and biomedical engineering fields.
Candidates
should meet the following criteria:
- employment
as a clinical and/or biomedical engineer for at least 5 years
- involvement
in national, state, or local clinical/ biomedical engineering
organizations
- involvement
in a standards development process (such as AAMI, NFPA, JCAHO
standards)
- contribution
through publications in journals or
development of educational programs.
The award consists
of $2,500 and an engraved plaque.
