The AAMI/GE
Healthcare BMET of the Year Award is given to a biomedical equipment
technician to recognize individual dedication, achievement, and
excellence in the field of biomedical equipment technology.
Candidates
must be:
- employed
in the biomedical field
- demonstrate
contributions to the profession, and
- be eligible
for certification as a BMET.
Thanks to the
generous support of GE Healthcare, the award consists of $1,500
and an engraved plaque.
