Search Tips

Often, just typing a few keywords isn't enough to find the documents you want. Here are some tips to help you find what you're looking for.

Searching by Document Number

There are two ways to do a successful document number search. If you know the entire document number and its format, enclose it in quotation marks: "AAMI TIR 10993-9:1995" or "AAMI/ISO 14160:1998". Quotation marks tell the system to return exactly the string enclosed by the quotes, including punctuation and spacing.

If you only know part of the document number, use an asterisk(*), the wild card character. This tells the system to search for any text string that begins with these characters.
Example:
RD* matches
AAMI RD47/Ed.3 (Project ID)
RD5/Ed.3
RD61/Ed.1
AAMI RD62/Ed.1
ANSI/AAMI RD16:1996
ANSI/AAMI RD17:1994
ANSI/AAMI RD47:1993
ANSI/AAMI RD5:1992
