AAMI is located in Arlington, VA in the Ballston Plaza office complex which is bordered by North Glebe Road and North Fairfax Drive.  AAMI offices are located on the second floor of a secure building. All visitors must first stop at the lobby, show a picture ID and sign in with building security. If you are attending an open meeting, we recommend you inform the staff contact at least one week in advance that you are planning to attend.  There is a parking garage that is shared by three buildings; be sure you enter the elevator for 1110 N. Glebe Road.

Arriving by Metro/Walking
  1. Take the Orange line to the Ballston Metro station (Direction Vienna from Washington or connecting Metro line).
  2. Exit the station and cross the road, North Fairfax Drive.
  3. Turn left on North Fairfax and walk three blocks.
  4. At North Glebe Road, cross the road and turn right.
  5. Walk one block to 1110 North Glebe Road.
  6. AAMI is on second floor in Suite 220.
Shuttle
  1. Take the Orange line to the Ballston Metro station (Direction Vienna from Washington or connecting Metro line).
  2. Exit the station and cross the road, North Fairfax Drive.
  3. Take shuttle, International Limousine, Inc., which stops at corner of North Fairfax Drive and North Stuart Street
  4. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
  5. Get off the shuttle in front of 1110 North Glebe Road.
  6. AAMI is on the second floor in Suite 220.

Arriving by Car
Please note that if you use I-66, HOV restrictions (at least 2 people in vehicle) are in place east in the mornings from 6:30 am to 9:00 am and west in the evenings from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm. These restrictions may not apply to cars going to or from Dulles International Airport. Good local alternatives to I-66 are available. Please consult a local road map.
Driving from Washington Dulles International Airport
  1. Take Dulles Airport Access Road toward Washington DC for 13.9 miles.
  2. Continue toward DC on SR-267 for 2.3 miles.
  3. Continue EAST on I-66 for 3.6 miles.
  4. At I-66 Exit 71, take off ramp onto North Fairfax Drive.
  5. The Ballston Plaza office complex is on the left.
  6. Refer to the map for exact location.
Driving from Reagan National Airport [EXCEPT during evening rush hours when HOV restrictions apply]
  1. Follow signs leading to I-66.
  2. Take I-66 WEST to Exit 71 for VA-120/Glebe Rd.
  3. Turn LEFT on N. Glebe Road.
  4. The Ballston Plaza Office Complex is on the right.
  5. Refer to the map for exact location.
Driving from Reagan National Airport [During evening rush hours when HOV restrictions apply]
  1. Take George Washington Parkway north from the airport.
  2. Continue north on GW Pkwy [George Washington Memorial Pkwy] for 4.1 miles.
  3. Bear LEFT (west) onto Ramp to Spout Run.
  4. Continue on Spout Run Pkwy approximately .5 mile across US-29 [Lee Hwy] where the road becomes Kirkwood.
  5. Continue on Kirkwood approximately .5 mile to the intersection with Washington Boulevard.
  6. Turn RIGHT (west) on Washington Boulevard; continue approximately one mile to intersection with N. Glebe Road.
  7. Turn LEFT on N. Glebe Road.
  8. The Ballston Plaza office complex is on the right.

Driving From Washington, D.C.
  1. Take Roosevelt Bridge to Rt. 50 West.
  2. Take Glebe Rd. exit, turn RIGHT (north).
  3. Note: this is the 100 block of North Glebe Rd. and AAMI is at the 1100 block
  4. The Ballston Plaza office complex is on the left at the corner of N. Glebe Rd. and N. Fairfax Dr. with entrances from either road.
  5. Refer to the map for exact location.
From the Beltway (I-495)
  1. Take I-66 EAST
  2. Continue EAST on I-66 to Exit 71, take off ramp to N. Fairfax Drive.
  3. The Ballston Plaza office complex is on the left before the first main intersection.
