Ways to Celebrate

Students Winners of a Selfie ContestThere are a number of ways you can be part of AAMI's 50th anniversary celebration. Here are just a few ideas of ways to mark this milestone.

Contribute a Story, Photo, or Anniversary Wish

Do you have pictures from a past AAMI event or meeting? Or an image that captures how much healthcare technology has advanced during the last five decades? Maybe you have a story you'd like to share on the AAMI 50th anniversary website or in an AAMI publication. We'd love to hear from you!

Email your digital photos with a brief description or your story ideas to webmaster@aami.org, and if possible, we'll include it in an upcoming feature. You can also share your thoughts and memories or send AAMI an anniversary wish using #AAMI50 on social media.

Attend a Special Event

Throughout 2017, AAMI is recognizing its 50th anniversary at a number of events, from a special party at the Annual Conference & Expo in Austin, TX, to AAMI Standards Week and beyond. There will also be a number of giveaways each month and discounts to help members build their careers. Check it out!

Promote Your Involvement

Nothing in AAMI's 50-year history could have been accomplished without our corporate, institutional, society, and individual members. Show how you've been building tomorrows by creating safer, more effective healthcare technology by personalizing one of our news templates to create a press release or develop an article for your company's newsletter. You also can download one of our celebratory logos.

Donate to the AAMI Foundation Scholarship Program

As part of the 50th anniversary celebration, the AAMI Foundation is working to raise $100,000 for its scholarship fund. The money raised as part of this campaign, called “Going for Gold,” will enable the Foundation to offer additional scholarships to students studying healthcare technology beginning in 2018.
